Cook the channa and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, fry onion, garlic, ginger and garam masala.
Saute about 2 minutes.3) Transfer this into a mixer. Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander, cumin powder.
In the pan, heat oil. Add this garam masala and fry well. Saute till the oil clears on top.5) Add the tomato and green chillies.
Add the channa and 1 cup water.
Cook the masala well.9) When the water is thickened, add the coconut milk and cook it.
