Ingredients
  

  • Channa : 2 cups (cooked)
  • Onion : 1 no (slices)
  • Garlic : 5 cloves
  • Ginger : 1 piece
  • Green chillies : 2 nos
  • Tomato : 1 no (chopped)
  • Crushed garam masala : 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder : 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder : 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • Coconut milk : 1 ½ cup
  • Coriander leaves : few
  • Salt : as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cook the channa and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry onion, garlic, ginger and garam masala.
  • Saute about 2 minutes.3) Transfer this into a mixer. Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander, cumin powder.
  • In the pan, heat oil. Add this garam masala and fry well. Saute till the oil clears on top.5) Add the tomato and green chillies.
  • Add the channa and 1 cup water.
  • Cook the masala well.9) When the water is thickened, add the coconut milk and cook it.
  • Coconut milk channa curry is ready.
