Sprouted Moong Dal Masala

A nutritious side dish with sprouted Moong dal

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sprouted Moong Dal
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 no Tomato
  • Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Pepper Powder
  • Sugar A pinch
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and then fry the onion till it changes colour.
  • Add tomato and fry till it becomes soft.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix well and then add the sprouted dal. Stir well.
  • Add one cup of water and cover it with a lid and let it cook.
  • When the dal is cooked and the mixture is dry, add pepper powder and sugar.
  • Mix well.
  • :- Serve with rice or chappathis.
