Instructions
Cut the bittergourd into small pieces.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Add chopped onion and saute till it turns soft.
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute well.
Add chopped bittergourd pieces. Mix well.
Add enough water to cook the bittergourd. Stir well.
Pour the tamarind pulp into the pan.
Cover and cook on a low flame till a thick gravy is formed.
Open the lid and stir well.
