For preparing tasty fried fish moliee, rub the fish pieces with turmeric, pinch of chilly powder and salt.
Shallow fry the fish and keep aside.
Heat coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add onion and fry well.
Crush the ginger, garlic and green chillies. Add to onion and fry again.
Add tomato and saute.
Add chilly powder, coriander, fenugreek, turmeric and salt.
Add vinegar and saute for 2 minutes.
Add fish pieces and mix well.
Add 2nd coconut milk and cover. Cook the fish till done.
When done, do not mix with ladle, just turn the pan.
Add the 1st coconut and thicken the gravy.
Pour 1 tbsp coconut oil on top with curry leaves. Serve hot with mutta rice.
Tasty fried fish moliee is ready.
