- For preparing tasty fried fish moliee, rub the fish pieces with turmeric, pinch of chilly powder and salt. 
- Shallow fry the fish and keep aside. 
- Heat coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add onion and fry well. 
- Crush the ginger, garlic and green chillies. Add to onion and fry again. 
- Add tomato and saute. 
- Add chilly powder, coriander, fenugreek, turmeric and salt. 
- Add vinegar and saute for 2 minutes. 
- Add fish pieces and mix well. 
- Add 2nd coconut milk and cover. Cook the fish till done. 
- When done, do not mix with ladle, just turn the pan. 
- Add the 1st coconut and thicken the gravy. 
- Pour 1 tbsp coconut oil on top with curry leaves. Serve hot with mutta rice. 
- Tasty fried fish moliee is ready.
