Parippu Urundai Kuzhambu

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Lentils
  • 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Kaayam
  • 3 tbsp Coconut grated
  • Tamarind Lemon sized
  • 3 nos Dry red chillies
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing parippu urundai kuzhambu, soak dal in water for 40 minutes.
  • Grind with asafoetida and chillies.
  • Batter should be semi solid.
  • Mix coriander, coconut and salt.
  • Soak tamarind and make the juice.
  • Boil the tamarind solution in kadai.
  • Make balls out of batter and cook in tamarind juice.
  • When done, remove from juice and serve with rice.
  • Parippu urundai kuzhambu is ready.
