Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Tamarind Small lemon sized
  • 2 nos Red chillies
  • 8 nos Pepper
  • 7 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing jeera kuzhambu, soak tamarind in water.
  • Water should be at least 60ml
  • Fry cumin and pepper in ghee.
  • Powder them.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard. Add garlic and fry again.
  • Add tamarind juice, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Add powdered cumin before removing from flame and serve hot.
  • Jeera kuzhambu is ready.
