Ingredients
  

  • 6 nos King prawns retain head and tail
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 no Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 1 no Bay leaves Karuga ela
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Chilly flakes
  • 1 no Onion sliced & fried to a brown color
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing prawns fry with thick coconut milk masala, marinate prawns with 1 tsp turmeric, chilly flakes and lime juice.
  • Fry prawns in the oil and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add little oil.
  • Add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves. Add onion and fry till color changes.
  • Add turmeric, salt, chilly powder and coriander powder. Add coconut milk and make it a thick paste.
  • In a serving plate, pour the thick gravy in middle. Add prawns in the plate. Place the crispy fried onion slices above the prawns and serve.
  • Crispy Prawns fry with coconut milk masala is ready.
