Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Almonds soaked overnight in water
  • 1/4 cup Sesame seeds soaked overnight in water, Ellu
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Rose water

Instructions
 

  • For preparing almond kheer, grind the almonds and sesame seeds to a fine paste.
  • Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and fry the ground pastes until brown in colour.
  • Add in the milk and sugar. Allow it to cook in low flame until the mixture thickens.
  • Remove it from the flame and add rose water.
  • Almond kheer is ready. Serve hot.
