Brioche
A snack made with milk, maida, eggs, sugar, salt and yeast

- 250 g All purpose flour sifted, Maida
- 1 packet Dry baker’s yeast
- 2 tbsp Warm milk
- 1 no Egg white
- 2 nos Egg yolks
- 60 g Sugar
- 5 g Salt
For preparing brioche, beat half of the maida, butter, sugar and salt in a processor.
Add the rest of the maida, yeast, milk, egg white and 1 egg yolk. Beat for 1 minute until you get a smooth and supple ball of dough.
Leave the dough to stand for 1 hour covered with a cloth in a warm place.
Then work briskly by hand and put it into a greased and dusted brioche tin.
Cover and leave to rinse until the dough has doubled in volume.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius.
Brush the surface of the brioche with the egg yolk and bake for 35 minutes.
Brioche is ready.
