Short Crust Pastry
Maida with other ingredients are baked - Short Crust Pastry

- 200 g All purpose flour Maida
- 100 g Butter softened
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 50 ml Water
- Salt A pinch
For preparing short crust pastry, mix maida with salt, sugar and butter.
Pour water and knead it well in a processor. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
Roll it and put it over into a baking dish. Prick the base of the pastry and pinch the sides, to avoid it from rising.
Bake it till done.
Short crust pasty is ready.
Note:
1)You could also cook it by adding in dry beans to stop it from rising.
