Ingredients
  

  • 800 g Potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 1 clove Garlic cut in thin slices
  • 125 g Cream
  • 2 nos Egg yolks
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Nutmeg grated, Jathikka
  • 30 g Gruyere cheese grated
  • 15 g Butter
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing potato au-gratin, pre heat the oven to 210 degrees celsius.
  • In a baking dish arrange the potatoes with the slices of garlic.
  • Whisk the cream, milk, egg yolks, salt, pepper powder and nutmeg.
  • Pour this mixture over the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle grated gruyere cheese and knobs of butter over it.
  • Bake it for 50 minutes.
  • Potato au-gratin is ready.
