Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Potato
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder Kayam
  • 1 pinch Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 cup Sour curd
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • Coriander leaves As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing dahi vaala aloo, cook potato in cooker and peel it.
  • Mash it by hand.
  • Saute cumin seeds in oil. Add asafoetida and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt. Add the mashed potato.
  • Blend curd and water and pour over the potato.
  • When it boils remove from flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Dahi vaala aloo is ready.
