Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Sorrel leaves
  • 130 g Potatoes chopped
  • 250 g Button mushrooms chopped
  • 25 g Butter
  • 600 ml Hot water
  • 100 g Fresh cream
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing cream of mushroom soup with sorrel, melt butter in a saucepan, add the sorrel leaves and potatoes. Stir and leave it to fry.
  • Add in the mushrooms, salt and pepper powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Pour hot water and allow it to simmer on low flame for 20 minutes. 4)When cooked, pour the soup into a blender and blend it well.
  • Pour the soup back into the saucepan, add in the cream and mix well. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
  • Cream of mushroom soup with sorrel is ready. Serve hot.
