Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Tomato sliced and unseeded
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • 5 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 cup Prawn cooked with salt and pepper
  • 6 nos Bilimbi Irumban puli
  • 1/2 of Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 sprigs Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 4 nos Shallots Kunjulli
  • Salt As reqd
  • Tamarind As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing thakkali chemmeen vattichathu, grind the ingredients: coconut, turmeric, chilly powder and shallots.
  • Boil this paste with the ingredients tomato, onion, green chillies, prawn and irumban puli.
  • Add the rest ingredients when the tomato is cooked. Heat in low flame for 15 min.
  • Add the coconut oil on top, twist the dish and take it from flame.
  • Serve hot.
