Spicy Aloo Palak

Aloo and palak cooked in spicy masala

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 2 nos Potato cooked and mashed
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing spicy aloo palak, first boil spinach in water.
  • Grind spinach and green chillies together.
  • In a pan heat oil.
  • Add onion, cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric and chilly powder.
  • Add mashed potato and fry well.
  • Add the spinach paste and fry again.
  • Pour little water and boil.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
  • Remove from flame and serve hot.
  • Spicy aloo palak is ready.
