- Spinach - 2 cups
- Potato(cooked and mashed) - 2 nos
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Tomato(chopped) - 2 nos
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tbsp) -
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Grind spinach and green chillies together.
- In a pan heat oil.
- Add onion, cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric and chilly powder.
- Add mashed potato and fry well.
- Add the spinach paste and fry again.
- Pour little water and boil.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
- Remove from flame and serve hot.
- Spicy aloo palak is ready.
