Soyabean Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Soyabeans soaked in water for 10 hours
  • 2 nos Onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 3 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 nos Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp Celery chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing soyabean masala, cook soyabeans in salt water.
  • Saute cumin seeds and pepper powder in oil. Then add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped onion. Fry for a while.
  • Add in turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala and pepper powder. Saute well with salt.
  • Add tomatoes and fry well.
  • Then add rest of the ingredients: soyabeans, coconut milk, coriander leaves, celery, required salt and mix well. Allow it to boil and cook in low flame. Remove it from the flame when done.
  • Soyabean masala is ready. Serve hot.
