For preparing cashew prawns curry, roast grated coconut, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, fenugreek seeds, garlic and ginger. Grind it to make a fine paste.
Cook the cashew nuts in 2 cups of water.
Add the paste, salt, tamarind water, prawns, and green chilly to it. Allow it to boil.
Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard, red onions, dry chillies and curry leaves. Add it to the curry and remove it from the flame.
Cashew prawns curry is ready. Serve hot.
