Tasty Mint Chutney

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Mint leaves chopped, Pudhina ela
  • 1 tsp Garlic crushed
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger sliced
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Coconut grated
  • 1 tsp Split black gram Uzhunnu parippu
  • 1 tsp Split bengal gram Kadala parippu
  • 3 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder jeeraka podi
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing mint chutney, heat oil in a pan and sautT onion, ginger and garlic till they are golden brown in color.
  • Then add green chillies, coconut, split black gram and split bengal gram. Cook till they are done. keep it aside for 5-10 min.
  • Grind lemon juice, cumin powder, salt and the prepared masala to make a smooth paste.
  • Mint chutney is ready. Serve with dosa, idly, etc.
