Mixed Burfi

A tasty sweet - Mixed Burfi

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Gram flour Kadala mavu
  • 1/2 cup Coconut grated
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sooji
  • 1/4 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup Raw rice flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 500 ml Ghee

Instructions
 

  • Fry gram flour for 4-5 minutes. Sieve and set aside
  • Fry sooji till golden in color.
  • Fry rice flour and wheat flour separately till aroma comes, sieve and set aside.
  • Grind the coconut in a mixer.
  • Mix all the flours, sooji, milk and coconut. Keep aside.
  • In a heavy bottomed pan, boil 2 cups of water, add sugar and stir well.
  • When the sugar syrup starts boiling, add the flour mixture and stir continuously, adding ghee.
  • When the burfy gets separated from the sides of the pan, remove from fire and transfer the ingredient to a greased plate.
  • Spread it evenly, and after 2 minutes make squares.
  • After 5 minutes separate the squares.
