Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Liver chopped
  • 3 tsp Chilly powder
  • 3 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 10 nos Shallots chopped, Cheriya ulli
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 2 inch Ginger chopped
  • 10 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 4 springs Curry leaves
  • 2 nos Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped

Instructions
 

  • For preparing liver vattichathu, take a pressure cooker, add liver pieces, chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and water. Cook it.
  • Heat coconut oil in a vessel. Fry small onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and curry leaves.
  • Then add the tomatoes to it and fry again.
  • When the oil separates, add the cooked liver, pepper powder and coriander leaves to it. Remove it from the flame.
  • Liver vattichathu is ready. Serve hot with bread, pathiri, ceylon paratha, chapatti etc.
