For preparing red gram /vanpayar and dried chemeen thoran, first heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Add onion, ginger, garlic and sautT till light brown in color.
Add curry leaves and dry chillies.
Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala and saute till the raw smell goes off.
Add the boiled vanpayar and sautT well.
At this point, add dried chemeen and 4 tbsp water.
Cover it with a lid and cook for some time.
