For preparing red gram/vanpayar with dried chemeen, first heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Add onion, ginger, garlic and sautT till light brown in color.
Add curry leaves and dry red chillies.
Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala and saute till the raw smell goes off.
Add the boiled vanpayar and sautT well.
At this point, add dried chemeen and 4 tbsp water.
Cover it with a lid and cook for some time.
