Tasty Ullivada

Onions are finely sliced and mixed with other ingredients to make a paste. It is then deep fried in oil.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 4 nos Onions finely sliced
  • Curry leaves finely chopped
  • 3 nos Green chilly finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing ullivada, take a bowl, add maida, onions, curry leaves, green chillies, chilly powder, turmeric powder, ginger, salt and required water. Mix it well by hand and make it into a paste.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Scoop the prepared paste using a spoon and fry it in oil till it becomes golden brown.
  • Ullivada is ready. Serve hot with ketchup.
