Thari Kanji
Semolina/rava is roasted in ghee to make a smooth kanji with coconut milk

- 1/4 cup Semolina/Rava thari
- 2 tbsp Shallots finely chopped, Kunjulli
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- Salt As reqd
- 4 cups Coconut milk
For preparing thari kanji, heat 1 tbsp ghee and add rava to it and stir it on low heat for some time.
Add 2 1/2 cups of coconut milk to it and cook it well.
When the rava is cooked well, then add the remaining coconut milk and boil it well.
Fry small onions in 1 tbsp of ghee and put it in the cooked kanji.
Do not make the kanji too thick. It should be made like a smoothy drink .
Thari kanji is ready. Serve for fasting people so that they can gain the energy back.
