Wash and cut cluster beans into thin pieces lengthwise diagonally.
Cook the beans by adding 1/4 cup of water, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder till all the water is drained.
In a pan, heat oil and fry the onions till they are golden brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell is gone.
Add the masala, and after frying it for some time, add the tomatoes and green chillies and fry till the tomatoes are well cooked.
Add the cooked kothamara to the cooked masala, add more salt if required and fry for 2 more minutes on medium flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves. Serve hot.
NB: Believe me, those who does not like cluster beans will also like this twist in its taste.
