Ingredients
- Kothamara/Cluster Beans - 1/2k g
- Onion(big, thinly cut lengthwise) - 1 no
- Tomato(medium size, thinly cut lengthwise) - 2 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 dsp) -
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
- Sunflower oil - 4 tbsp
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Coriander leaves(Few) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water - 1/4 cup
For preparing masala:
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tbsp

Instructions
- Wash and cut cluster beans into thin pieces lengthwise diagonally.
- Cook the beans by adding 1/4 cup of water, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder till all the water is drained.
- In a pan, heat oil and fry the onions till they are golden brown.
- Add the masala, and after frying it for some time, add the tomatoes and green chillies and fry till the tomatoes are well cooked.
- Add the cooked kothamara to the cooked masala, add more salt if required and fry for 2 more minutes on medium flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves. Serve hot.
- NB: Believe me, those who does not like cluster beans will also like this twist in its taste.
