Dry anchovy curry with tomatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Dry Anchovies
  • 2 cups Chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups Chopped onions
  • 2 nos Green chillies split
  • 2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • 1 cup Coriander leaves
  • 200 ml Refined oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing dry anchovy curry, clean the anchovies thoroughly.
  • Put a deep bottomed pan on the stove, add oil and heat. 3)Add the onion pieces, green chillies, tomato pieces and ginger-garlic paste and fry until they turn brown.
  • Add the anchovies and fry well, mixing constantly and carefully. Add some water and allow to simmer.
  • Add salt, stir well and cook until the preparation is done.
  • Add finely chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice.
