Potato-Aloo With Paneer

Fried paneer and potato are mixed and cooked with other spices

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Paneer cubed
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 2 nos Potatoes cubed
  • 1 no Garlic clove crushed
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 no Bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat cooking oil in a pan and deep fry the paneer and potato cubes. Keep aside.
  • Saute the in the same oil till golden brown in color and add bay leaves and tomato puree. Grind into a paste.
  • Heat oil and saute garlic, green chillies, ground paste.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala and salt.
  • Pour 1 cup of water and cook till the gravy thickens and garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Potato/aloo with paneer, a tasty and healthy side dish recipe for kids as well as elders, is ready.
