Potato-Aloo Pancakes

Grated potato, flour, milk and other ingredients are combined together and fried as pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Potato grated
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Onion grated
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Baking powder A pinch
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Oil For applying on tawa
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 no Egg
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • For preparing potato/aloo pancakes, mix together all purpose flour, egg, cinnamon, pepper powder, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir in grated potato and grated onion. Mix well.
  • Pour milk into the mixture till it attains a thick consistency.
  • Pour a ladle full of batter in a heated frying pan and spread lightly. Pour little oil on the sides of tawa.
  • Cook till both sides are done.
  • Potato/aloo pancakes, an easy as well as nutritious snack recipe, is ready.
