Semolina Halwa With Cashew & Badam
Ground cashew and badam is cooked with sugar syrup, milk and other ingredients

- 1 cup Semolina
- 1/2 cup Nuts Badam and Cashew
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 cup Water
- Nuts For garnishing, grated
First soak the nuts in milk and grind well.Fry the semolina in ghee and keep aside.
Now prepare sugar syrup by boiling 1/4 cup sugar along with 1/4 cup water till a one string consistency is achieved.
Stir in ground nuts paste and combine well.
Now add ghee little by little and keep stirring in low heat till a halwa consistency is achieved. Add semolina into it.
Flavour with cardamom powder.
Garnish the halwa with grated nuts and serve hot or cold.
