Chilly Chicken-Murgh Pulav

Chicken pieces blended with ground chilly mixture, chicken stock, other ingredients and cooked with rice in a microwave

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g Chicken boneless cubes
  • 1 no Tomato pureed
  • 3/4 cup Basmati rice
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 4 nos Garlic cloves
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 1 no Cloves Grambu
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing chilly chicken pulav, grind together ingredients : green chillies, ginger, garlic, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, required salt and oil to a smooth paste.
  • Put the ground paste in a microwave safe bowl and stir in chicken pieces. Mix well.
  • Microwave the chicken for 2 minutes in high mode.
  • Now add rice, chicken stock and tomato puree. Mix well.
  • Cover it with a microwave safe plastic wrap and make small holes on it.
  • Cook in high mode for 5 minutes and in medium for 7 more minutes. Allow standing time of 5 minutes.
  • Chilly chicken pulav is ready. Serve hot with salad/raita and enjoy.
