Baby Corn-Baby Makai Fry
Cooked baby corn mixed with groundnut powder, tomato puree and other ingredients

- 500 g Baby corn peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 3 tbsp Tomato puree
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- 1/2 cup Roasted groundnut powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt As reqd
Add turmeric powder, required salt and 2 cups of water to baby corn and pressure cook for 10 minutes until done. Keep this aside.
Marinade the corn with all other ingredients and deep fry it in kadai.
Stir in cooked baby corn and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt if necessary.
Garnish baby corn/baby makai fry with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chappathis, parathas etc.
