Carrot-Gaajar Raita Recipe
Caroot/gaajar/mangal mullangi raita recipe is prepared by mixing grated carrot with chopped lettuce, tomatoes and other ingredients

- 3/4 cup Carrot grated
- 1 leaf Lettuce chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- Asafoetida powder A pinch, kayam
- 1 cup Curd
- 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Oil
- Salt As reqd
Mix together grated carrot, chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, curd and sugar. Keep this aside.
For seasoning, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard sedds and cumin seeds.
Add asafoetida and turn off flame. Stir in red chilly powder and saute.
Pour the seasoning into the salad mixture and mix gently.
Add required salt just before serving carrot raita.
