Crab Curry

Crab curry is prepared by cooking crab pieces in ground coconut mixture, ginger-garlic paste and other ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Crab cubes
  • 1 no Onion sliced
  • ½ cup Coconut grated
  • ½ tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Masala powder
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • ½ tsp Lime juice
  • Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • First grind the grated coconut and raw rice to a fine paste. Keep this aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add black gram dal and curry leaves.
  • Now add the onion pieces and cinnamon. SautT well and fry.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, ground coconut mixture and required salt.
  • Allow to boil and add the crab pieces. Cook with a covered lid in low heat till crab is done.
  • Add coconut milk and lemon juice.
  • Stir well and cook in low flame for 2 minutes. Remove pan from fire.
  • Delicious crab curry is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
