Chinese Prawns In Sauce

A special prawn recipe popular in Hunan province of China. Corn flour dusted prawns are lightly fried and cooked with garlic paste, chicken stock and other ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gms Prawn
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • ½ tblsp Spring onion
  • 2 nos Green Chilly
  • 1 ½ Corn starch
  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp All purpouse Flour
  • 1 no Capsicum
  • ¼ tsp White pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp White wine
  • 1 ½ Chicken stock
  • 1 tsp Water
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Remove the seed of green chilly and grind with garlic and half of the onion. Keep aside.
  • Dust the prawns with little pepper powder and corn flour. Fry till light brown and keep aside.
  • Mix together the chicken stock and soya sauce. Bring to boil till half.
  • Add the fried prawns, capsicum, spring onion and white wine. Bring to boil.
  • Now add the ground paste and boil till the sauce thickens.
  • sprinkle some white pepper power and serve hot.
  • Chinese prawns in sauce is ready to serve.
