Beef Stew With White Wine
Thinly sliced beef pieces are fried along with onions, potatoes and cooked with white wine

- 250 g Beef thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp White wine
- 1 no Potatoes peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 nos Onions sliced
- Brown sugar As reqd
- 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup Water
- 3 nos Green chillies
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- Salt As reqd
First heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute beef pieces for a few minutes.
Add sliced onion, green chillies, ginger and potato pieces and saute for some more time.
Stir in brown sugar, white wine and mix well.Add water.
Cover the pressure cooker and cook in low heat. Cook till done.
Beef stew with white wine, a popular continental dish, is ready. Serve hot with bread or boiled rice.
