Thinly sliced beef pieces are fried along with onions, potatoes and cooked with white wine

  • First heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute beef pieces for a few minutes.
  • Add sliced onion, green chillies, ginger and potato pieces and saute for some more time.
  • Stir in brown sugar, white wine and mix well.Add water.
  • Cover the pressure cooker and cook in low heat. Cook till done.
  • Beef stew with white wine, a popular continental dish, is ready. Serve hot with bread or boiled rice.
