Prawn With Mushroom Soup
Prawn/Jhinga soup is prepared by cooking prawns in chicken soup stock, mushrooms and other ingredients

- 250 g Mushrooms cut in to halves
- 1 no Spring onion cut into 2 inch long pieces
- 8 nos Prawns deveined and washed
- 1/2 cup Chicken soup stock
- 1 ½ Lemon juice
- Pepper powder A pinch
- 1 1/2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chilli paste
- 1/4 of Lime for seasoning
- Lemon grass Few
- 2 tbsp Celery chopped
- Salt As reqd
First heat pan and boil chicken soup stock.
Add lemon juice, fish sauce and chilli paste, lemon grass to chicken stock, and stir.
Stir in mushrooms, spring onions, prawns and simmer for 10-12 minutes until prawns are done.
Add celery, salt and pepper.
Prawn with mushroom soup is ready. Season with lime juice and pepper powder. Serve hot.
