Make a paste of cashew nuts and coconut. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Put the onion and saute well. When the color changes to slight brown, add ginger-garlic pastes, garam masala and salt.
Then put the chicken pieces into it and mix well.
Add enough water for the chicken pieces to cook. Cover it with a lid.
When the chicken is well cooked, add the cashew paste and coconut paste and stir well and make it to boil for sometime.Garnish with pudina and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
