Clean and cut chicken into small pieces. Wash and drain well.
Add curd, chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt to the chicken pieces and leave aside for 30 minutes for marination.
Chop onion, tomato and green chillies. Saute onion in oil until it becomes golden brown.
Add chopped tomato to this. When tomato and onion are cooked together, add green chillies and ginger garlic paste to the mixture.
Allow the mixture to be cooked until the raw smells goes. Now add the chicken pieces to the mixture.
Add enough water and let the chicken curry boil. Stir the ingredients. Cook in low heat.
When the curry is done, add coriander leaves and let it boil for 5 minutes. Serve it with chappathi .
