Broccoli Cashew Crispies

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Broccoli florets
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds ground
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g Cashews chopped
  • 2 nos Shallots chopped, Kunjulli
  • Vegetable oil As reqd
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Fresh coriander Few, chopped
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Sift together garam masala, chickpea flour, cumin, baking powder and chilly powder into a bowl.
  • Add water and little oil and combine well to make a smooth batter.
  • Add chopped shallots, cashew nuts and chopped coriander leaves. Mix together and combine the batter well.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Dip each broccoli in the batter and deep fry until golden brown.
  • Broccoli cashew crispies are ready and serve hot with mint chutney.
