First boil the milk in a hard bottomed vessel and add the china grass. Stir continuously under a medium flame.
Then, add milk maid into the above mixture and stir continuously.
Keep the above mixture in a low flame and stir continuously until the mixture gets thickened.(15-20 minutes)
When the mixture attains a thick consistency, put out the flame and keep aside for cooling.
Take another vessel and add chopped pineapple and sugar. Saute in medium heat till all the water is gone from the pineapple.
After that, put off the flame and add pineapple essence & mix well.
Take a flattened vessel and spread the pineapple mixture evenly. Pour the milk mixture above it.
Put it in fridge for 15 minutes and allow to set and serve.
