Prawn With Potato Stir Fry

Cooked prawns mixed with masala and stir fried

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Prawns cleaned and de-veined
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 cup Potato sliced lengthwise into thin fingers
  • 1 inch Ginger minced
  • 1/2 dsp Garlic whole
  • 5 nos Dry red chillies
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1 dsp Vinegar
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and put the cleaned prawns, a little water, some salt, vinegar and minced ginger.
  • Cook in low fire until the prawns are cooked and the water evaporates completely.
  • Remove the seeds and grind the skin of red chillies along with garlic to a fine paste.
  • Tan a pan and pour some oil. Fry the onions until crisp and golden. Remove from fire.
  • Next, fry the potato pieces until crisp and remove from fire.
  • In the same oil, saute the ground red chilly masala. Add the cooked prawns and saute well.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and stir for sometime.
  • Add half of the fried onions, a pinch of sugar and required salt.
  • Mix and remove the contents to serving dish. Decorate the top with remaining fried onions and fried potato pieces.
  • Yummy and nutritious prawn with potato stir fry is ready and serve hot.
