Marinate chicken pieces in red chilly powder, ginger and salt for 10 minutes.
In a non-stick pan, add 5 tbsp oil and fry the marinated chicken till dark brown and dry. Keep aside.
In the same oil, fry green chillies and curry leaves. Keep aside.
In the remaining oil saute onion till golden brown. Then, saute tomato. To this add the fried chicken, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Combine well.
Finally add tomato sauce, soya sauce and chilly sauce.
Add salt if needed because soya sauce has salt enough.
Easy chilli chicken is ready and goes well with chappathi, naan and fried rice.
