  • Marinate chicken pieces in red chilly powder, ginger and salt for 10 minutes.
  • In a non-stick pan, add 5 tbsp oil and fry the marinated chicken till dark brown and dry. Keep aside.
  • In the same oil, fry green chillies and curry leaves. Keep aside.
  • In the remaining oil saute onion till golden brown. Then, saute tomato. To this add the fried chicken, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Combine well.
  • Finally add tomato sauce, soya sauce and chilly sauce.
  • Add salt if needed because soya sauce has salt enough.
  • Easy chilli chicken is ready and goes well with chappathi, naan and fried rice.
