Easy Oats Uthappam

Powdered oats mixed with curd to make uthappam

Ingredients
  

  • 50 g Oats
  • 3/4 cup Curd
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder Kayam
  • 2 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 50 g Cabbage finely chopped
  • 50 g Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 50 g Beans finely chopped
  • 25 g Cooked green peas
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind the oats to a fine powder and mix with curd, kayam powder and required salt.
  • Make a smooth batter with necessary water and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Take the chopped green chillies, cabbage, tomatoes, beans and green peas in a vessel. Add pepper powder, required salt and mix gently.
  • Take a tawa and brush with oil. Heat the tawa and spread the oats batter in a thick proportion.
  • Sprinkle the chopped veggies on top and with a ladle turn the dosa upside down.
  • Fry both sides of the dosa to a golden color.
  • Easy oats uthappam, an ideal dish for breakfast with all necessary nutrients is ready.
