Pear Walnut Salad With Ricotta Cheese
Highly nutritional salad with pear as the basic ingredient.

- 1 no Ripe firm pear cored
- 1 no Red oakleaf lettuce small, leaves separated
- 1/4 cup Walnut halves unsalted
- 1 tbsp Ricotta cheese
- Lemon juice As reqd
For pear dressing:
- 1 no Fresh pear canned with 1 tbsp liquid reserved
- 1 tbsp Red wine/balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper freshly ground
Cut the pear into few segments. Place this in a bowl.
Add lemon juice and toss(this prevents pears from turning brown). Keep this aside.
To prepare pear dressing, place pear, liquid, red wine or balsamic vinegar in a blender. Make a puree and keep aside.
Arrange the lettuce leaves in a serving platter. Top with the tossed pear. Drizzle the salad with the pear dressing.
Scatter the top with walnuts and ricotta cheese.
