Minced Meat Ada

Rolled out dough filled with minced meat and deep fried.

Ingredients
  

For the filling:

  • 250 g Meat/Chicken minced
  • 3 nos Onions chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 4 nos Green chillies Chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Coriander leaves A small bunch, chopped
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

For preparing dough:

  • 250 g All purpose flour Maida
  • Water As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cook the minced meat with turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and little water. Cook in low flame until the water evaporates completely. Keep this aside.
  • Take a pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and fry chopped onions and green chillies until golden in color.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, cooked meat, garam masala and coriander leaves. Fry for sometime and keep aside until done.
  • Prepare a firm dough by mixing flour, water and salt.
  • Take a small portion of the dough and flatten or roll out into a round.
  • Place the previously prepared meat filling in the centre. Press tight the edges to form the shape of a semicircle.
  • Continue the process with remaining dough.
  • Take a frying pan and pour sufficient coconut oil for frying. Heat the oil and deep fry the minced meat ada until golden in color.
